Tranquil hidden gem in a hectic suburb. This is my favourite cafe in Bronte. So chill and easy going with lots of seating, indoor & outdoor. Kind, friendly staff & great coffee. What mare could you want?

Locale in Bronte is an absolute gem. The coffee is consistently spot on, the food is fresh and full of flavour, and the atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of relaxed and buzzing. What really makes Locale stand out, though, is the team — especially Emilie and Jack. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine care for customers is something special. You can tell they love what they do, and it creates such a welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in. They remembered my order, had a chat when it was quiet, and somehow still kept everything running smoothly during the morning rush. It’s rare to find a café where both the experience and the people leave such a strong impression. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Bronte — whether you’re a local or just passing through, you’ll be glad you did.

Located just minutes away from the Bronte beach. Staff was kind, place was spacious and inviting. I loved the decor and atmosphere. Menu includes special items that you don’t normally find in other counterparts. We ordered the breakfast burrito and breakfast tacos, they were both wonderful, full of flavours, great portion sizes. Coffee by Pablo and rusty was amazing. One of my favourite sydney cafes The only critic is everything is done via your phone e.g., ordering, making the whole dining experience ‘cold’ and odd. We felt uneasy not getting the chance to saying thanks to the team as we left.

My Favourite Breakfast Spot in Bronte Since moving to the neighbourhood, this café has become my absolute go-to spot for breakfast — and honestly, I can’t imagine starting my mornings anywhere else. The staff are always so friendly, warm, and attentive, and there’s this genuine energy to the place that makes you feel welcome the second you walk in. The food is consistently amazing — every single time. You can really taste the care that goes into it, and the kitchen team clearly knows what they’re doing. Whether it’s a classic brekkie or something a little different, it always comes out fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. What really makes this place special, though, is the team. The waitstaff are so kind and switched-on — they always remember your order, check in at just the right time, and make the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. There’s such a lovely sense of community here, like they genuinely care about their regulars. This café isn’t just a great spot to eat — it’s become one of my favourite things about living in Bronte. Couldn’t recommend it more!

A Vegan & Vegetarian’s Delight! Locale has such a relaxed atmosphere but they aren’t relaxed about their service, it’s friendly and attentive I loved the Mushrooms on Toast (best mushies ever) with a tasty pico de gallo to add dimension and my friend loved the Green Eggs… the coffee and matcha were insta worthy too! Definitely hit this place up!
